I was photographing an old antique store early one morning. I was moving my camera around looking at the viewfinder, when a car pulled up, four people got out. One person came and stood in front of my camera took a picture. Another person came and stood in front of my camera took a picture and then they all got back into the car and drove off. They never said a word.

I guess the tripod made me look like I knew what I was doing.
